Wine Bottles
I had recently tried wine at a work event and thought it was rather tasty. So I had bought some and over a period of a few months I had the left over bottles.
I wanted to make something with them was just not sure what. Then I seen something neat on Pinterest that I had to try.
I started with spray painting the bottles then adding glitter and Epson salt to the bottom of the bottles. Then I added the bling.
Here is 4 different bottles I decorated.....so far. Thanks for coming to my blog!!!

Quick one
Well I made a very fast item today. Took a bug 10 minutes!!! I had a candy jar from last year that I never did anything with so I decided to do something with it. I made a pumpkin!! I used pledge floor wax and glitter just like I did with my Christmas ornaments last year. I used orange and black and tied some string around it. Something quick and fun. Thanks for looking.

Some fun stuff
Well I was busy doing different crafts today from using glue, silly eyes, imagine, circuit and vinyl.
My first project was some iron on coaster set. I used my imagine and printed these, of course the first time I forgot to flip the picture. I think they turned out antique looking.
Then I made a fall decorative block. I usually make many for Christmas but had never made myself one till now.
Then I have started another project I found on Pinterest.... You will have to come back to see the final picture.

Missing in Action
Well I am sad to say I have been missing in action for a few months it seems like. I recently was promoted at work and it has been very hectic with hiring a new department, kids starting school, going on vacation and everythig...you know normal liffe things that happen. Well on to the craft item I was able to do ......
My oldest participated in Track this past spring in Jr. High for the first time. I wanted to make a display of all his ribbons he received.
Thanks for looking!!! Keep on Crafting!!!
My oldest participated in Track this past spring in Jr. High for the first time. I wanted to make a display of all his ribbons he received.
I took the mat out and created my own with blue paper..very simple
His coach in Track wrote down all his times and attached to sticky note on the ribbons he received throughout the track season. I then in turn put them on labels and stuck them to the ribbon. On th relay ribbons I put the names of the kids on the back. This way Alex would always have that information.
This is what it turned out like. I really like the way it looks!
I also framed his Track Team picture to go with it....now I
just need to hang it!!!
Thanks for looking!!! Keep on Crafting!!!

2 Projects
Well, as my husband says...."you jump around from project to project...room to room" Yes that is me, I get started on one thing and think of something else while waiting for paint to dry.
I had this white shelf that needed touched up. So I touched it up with some sample paint I had bought from Walmart. I painted the trim around it and the holders under the shelf. This worked out perfectly for just this project only had to spend a $2 and some change on a sample bottle of paint ... and I still have 1/2 bottle left for whatever else I am wanting PINK!!

Hubby had to take some pictures of me working on it, as you can tell I like PINK!!!
This is the second project I started while the paint was drying on my shelf. I was technically cleaning up my scrap area, instead I made this. This is my best friends daughter. She graduated this year (of course...the reason for class of 2012) Anyway I cut her graduation invitation up and used her pictures and the 2012 saying. I printed some paper from the imagine using the Imagine More cart and some bling from Creative Memories ... and got this!!

Vinyl Fun
Well it has been a busy week for me as I'm sure with many others for the last week of school. My oldest, Alex just finished 6th Grade with A/B Honor Roll Award for the entire year and Perfect Attendance for the year. My youngest, Cody, finished 2nd Grade with Perfect Attendance for the year and received the Bull Dog Pride Award from his teacher. The Bull Dog Pride Award = Do your Best, Active Listener, Respect and Be Trustworthy. Only 2 kids from every class are chose for this award.
Ok now here is what I created really fast, while cleaning up my cluttered scrap area.
I started with this creative memories ceramic box I have had. I don't believe you can order it anymore. I have always wanted to add some bling, and finally did.
I used the Cricut American Alphabet carts preloaded on the E2
I cut the shadow in deep pink and the light pink in the boarder
I added a little bit of bling for something extra.
Here is the final product. Thanks for looking!!!

Need for Speed!!!
My oldest son ran track this year in 6th grade. In Baseball he is called Wheels, in track they called him "Beep Beep" for the road runner. Even though I am a couple of years behind on both my boys scrapbook's I went ahead and jumped to this year Track for him. He enjoyed it so much, it was good to see him so excited and have so much determination in him.
This picture was my favorite, I wanted to capture something different of just running,

Here is what my pages started with before the pictures. I used the imagine and hte Sports Mania to print and cut the track. I tried to make it look like the setting of a track. The numbers I cut from the Varsity Letter Cart.
Here is one page, the shoes in the top right I used from my CCR for the very first time and used an exclusive download. I have to say I really liked the CCR it was SO EASY!! Ok at least to cut a pair of shoes it was.
The Need for Speed I cut from the Sports mania as well, using colors from the Imagine. The yellow behind the pictures I used the Imagine Snapshot: Texture Cart.
The ribbon in the bottom left I cut from the Platin SchoolBook.
Final Project of both pages
Thanks so much for looking, I will be doing one more page for track but waiting for the team picture. Thanks so much for looking.

All PINK!!
Another Pinterest idea I seen, plus I already had all the stuff to do it with. It was all the same stuff I used to make christmas ornaments. You just need Pledge floor wax and glitter....I used PINK of course. Thas is my favorite color, not so much for my boys, so when ever I can use it on something for me I go all out.
Just pour the Pledge Floor wax in the bottle, swish it all around to coat the inside of the bottle.
Then pour your favorite color of glitter in.

Teacher Appreciation Week
This week was very busy in our house, with 2 track meets and work and me just not up to 100% par with my crohn's disease. I still wanted to show my appreciation for my youngest son's teacher. She is his 2nd grade Teacher, my oldest also had her when he was in 1st/2nd Grade as well. She has been an amazing teacher with both my boys. This was the final gift of the week, I really wasn't thinking on the rest of the week (I didn't take pictures).
Monday
My son made her a card.
Tuesday
We gave her a candy dish etched "friends"
Wednesday
We gave her a handwritten card saying, "You are a POP!!ular and AWsome Teacher" and with that card was a popcorn bag decorated and a little A&W Root Beer can. I craft lifted from pinterest.
Thursday
We gave her this picture frame decorated with paper from the imagine (Black&White)
and handwritten words.
Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment, it always brightens my day to read them!!

Mirror Dress Up
I have this "mirror" with a beautiful edging on it...well I decided to change it a bit.
I added a piece of 12x12 scrapbook paper, and put a collage of our family pictures on it. I also added some flowers for extra depth. Very simple but yet still very elegant I think.
Thanks for stopping by.

Garage Sale Days
It was our annual Town wide Garage Sale this past weekend. The weather wasn't the greatest but I always visit this same house because she sales new in package cricut cart's at a huge discount!!! Luckily she had some Imagine Carts and two of the cricut carts I have been wanting.
Well on with the project I made from my Garage Sale Days.
I made this using Mod Podge, along with the
Imagine Heirloom and the Cricut Projects Flower Shoppe
I bought these canvas pictures at a garage sale and decided to cover them with decorative paper, of course I seen that on Pinterest.
I covered it with the Mod Podge and layed my paper on it. I had the sides scored so it would bend around the edges easier.
I did use a rolling pin to help smooth out any wrinkles that started to show.
Then my final product I LOVED!! it turned out very nice I thought. Very simple, quick and easy. The Flower Shoppe flowers are a little tricky to do, so maybe my next one I will try a few more flowers with some leaves.
Thanks for looking!!

Pinterest!!!
Pinterest!!! I have to say I've been away from the blog world and have became addicted to Pinterest and online Garage Sale for my local area. I have enjoyed looking at all the pins for Pinterest and all tlhe great ideas that are on there. Well I finally got around to doing one of them. It was my first attempt at, I wished I could have found a thicker "W" but it was the only one I could find between Michaels and Hobby Lobby a couple of weeks ago. Thinking about doing our entire last name with different pictures over the years. I know I have enough because that is all I do is take pictures!!!
Here is what I used. I printed most of my pictures on paper so that they would bond easily to the "W" I aslo used Mod Podge as the adhesive.
Then I layed them all out on the "W" to get an idea of what I wanted them to look like. Before I glued all the pictures on I did however cover the "W" with different colors of vinyl all different ways to give it some character. I was sad however regarding the printable vinyl for the IMAGINE. I printed 2 different full pages and neither one of the vinyl's would stick to the "W."
Then just adhered them to the "W" and let it dry. Thanks for looking!!

12 years and counting
It will be 12 years this year since I married my best friend Brent. He has seen my through rough times, sad times and pulled me through the deepest darkest moments in my life. I found a shadow box for sale for $3 and couldn't pass it up. I finally took a few of the items I had from our "wedding shoe box" and put them in. I dressed it up with Creative Memories paper and bling. I love the way it turned out. My hair clip, jewelry, garter, his flower and a blue button cover from his shirt, along with a piece of the isle runner. I do like the way it turned out. Thanks for looking!!
