IMAGINE for Christmas!!! OMG!!!!

My husband bought me the imagine for Christmas!!!! I had no idea about it.  He was so sneaky.  I watched the world launch and we had to pass it up because of an unexpected expense of a broken water heater.  Well little did I know he bought it that day and has had this IMAGINE in hiding down at my in-laws house.  He recorded me opening it and I screamed ... "like a little girl," as my son told me lol.

Anyway I am so excited over this I have been trying to figure stuff out and can't wait to create now!!! But it will have to wait till later because we are off to my in-laws for Christmas dinner and family fun!

Wishing everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas Blocks

Well I have not been on the Cricut MB since the transfer to the new board but a few times nor have I been on my blog.  I started JC back in September and that is where my attention has been, 11 weeks and 9 lbs lighter.  Then I lost my lap top to a virus so I had some extra time on my hands and got busy making christmas stuff for family and friends.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Barn Sale

Well I decided to have one last Barn Sale before the crappy weather gets here.  Well I think the crappy weather beat me to it.  I am sitting in my Barn waiting for people to show up....I've had a few and what do you  know the wind is horrific the rain comes and now no power.  So I'm thankful I'm in a shelter for one thing and that my laptop is charged.  The sad thing is I'm sure all my signs are flipped the wrong way and everyone will get lost.

Paper Flowers - THANKS Greenbean's Crafterole

I finally sat down and rolled out some paper flowers, I seen these on GreenBean's Crafterole Blog.  She has such an awesome collection of stuff.  The great thing is it is stuff  you have a round the house...not costing any extra money to make.  If you have not checked out her blog, be sure you do.  I LOVE IT!!!  Hopefullly I have done this right and her button will be below for you to click on, if not she is on the side of my page.

Here are some of the flowers I made.  These I added stick pins in the middle so I could stick them to my corkboard at work.

These I put some beads in the middle of them and magnets on the back of.

Bad with the Good

Well I have always made my boys Birthday cakes.  You may have seen some of the pictures from other cakes I have made from a previous post.  Well with my oldest turning 11 I had this great idea in my head...for sports.  Well needless to say the cake had a mind of its own...
The cake split in the pan, so I was trying to fix it and piece it back together. Well let's just say I was so disappointed in it I shoved it down the garbage disposal.  So at 7pm the night before his birthday I go buy more cake mix and icing and had to change my plans, even the cake pans.

This was the final product and he LOVED it.
I may not have been happy with the turnout but he was
thrilled and that was all that mattered...HE LOVED IT!

Birthday Boy

Today is my oldest son's birthday, he is 11.  The day before he was born, Tuesday, Aug. 24th the doctor said...oh you are ready, you go home and walk and I will see you at the hospital for sure.  Well, my doctor was amazing, he was right!!  I went over to my best friends house, Jody and we walked around her block several times.  I finally went back home and waited for Brent to get home from work (he worked 2nd shift).  Well needless to say, we went to the hospital and at 10:29AM on Aug. 25th our beautiful little boy was born.  We were blessed with a healthy, happy, blond hair, blue eyed little boy.

Another Shell Project

Here is another project I made with some of the shells.  My hubby painted the frame for me then I glued the shells on.  I put a picture of my family with my brother.  The place in the background is one of the piers we ate at....and fished at where my oldes caught a mackeral fish.

Shells Shells and More Shells

After my family trip to Anna Maria Island in Florida, we had lots of shells we collected from the gulf. My oldest son and I went out at 6:30 AM one morning and found LOADS of shells. On the plane ride home, using my gypsy (of course) working on my layouts from our vacation, I thought about what could I do with all those shells. Well I decided to make my own wind chime from some of the shells we found.

Bowl full of shells
I had to drill holes in the shells to be able to
feed the fishing line through them.
I also wanted to give a little color to some of the shells, so
I spray painted a few of them blue.  Not completely,
just a couple of swipes.
Then I took a few of the shells and cut out vinyl using
Summer Vacation for the "BEACH"
Here is the finished project.  I added some gold beads I had also
from my grandma's crafts stuff.

Loved It!

My grandpa loved his gift...loved it so much, it made him cry, then it made me cry. This man is an awesome man in my eyes and I was glad I could make something for him that touched both of us.

Birthday Project

My grandpa is turning 92 years old on August 7th.  We are having a big party for him and celebrating everything about him.  All my aunts and uncles will be at the party.  I am very excited to see him and all my family.   Well anyway, I couldn't figure out what to get Grandpa for his birthday.  So I made this using my gypsy with carts:  Printing 101 and Gypsy Font.  I cut out a template and the used Armour Etch on the template I cut out.  The think I did wrong was not cut it out flipped.  The etching is actually on the top of the glass....oh well it still turned out good.  I think the worst part for me was coming up with words that I felt described my Grandpa and starting with all those letter.  Thanks for looking!!

Seen through a Fence

Well baseball season has came to an end for my oldest son.  He is 10 and hit his first home run on Friday, July 9th.  He was so excited, the ball almost went over the fence.  My husband and I were so excited for him.  What a great feeling to see your kid do something so amazing.

TILES

I created these tiles for one of my son's baseball teams. I used regular shelf liner as my template and placed on the tiles. Then spraypainted them, waited a couple of hours then took the liner off the tiles. They turned out really good and all the boys loved them.

Dino Room

This is my youngest sons room. He has liked dinosaurs since he was 2 he will soon be 7. My hubby got me the Dino Tracks Cart for Christmas so I wanted to use it in his room. The shelf on the back wall was originally a spiderman one. I redone it using vinyl along with the long Jurrasic Park picture below. The dinosaurs on the wall are not from the cart...I'm not that good yet! He absolutely loves the room.

My first posted project!!

Here is something I made for my oldest son in his room. If you have read my previous posts, you will know he plays baseball. I keep telling him to picture himself hitting a ball over the fence for his homerun.

More great stuff!!
